Those fashion brands that prospered during the 15 weeks of lockdown have one thing in common \u2013 they used omnichannel fashion sales.<\/p>\n<p>These channels include, but aren\u2019t limited to: Amazon, eBay, Shopify, online concessions, Zalando, ASOS, La Redoute, B2B wholesale, pure play ecommerce,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilevelsoftware.co.uk\/news\/ecommerce-level-covered\/\">and more<\/a>.&nbsp;Fashion is powering ahead online, and brands are harnessing&nbsp;it to great effect.<\/p>\n<p>Evidence? It\u2019s everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Take eBay. During the pandemic, eBay saw&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/markets.businessinsider.com\/news\/stocks\/ebay-reports-stronger-volume-growth-and-raises-revenue-and-gaap-and-non-gaap-eps-guidance-for-q2-2020-1029280992\">gross merchandise volume soar 23%<\/a>&nbsp;with all \u2018major verticals accelerating significantly, including fashion\u2019. 80% of these purchases were brand new products.<\/p>\n<p>Take Amazon. The second largest company in the U.S.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/amazons-sales-jump-as-coronavirus-prompts-surge-in-online-shopping-11588278740\">saw 26% growth<\/a>&nbsp;compared to the same period in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Take ASOS. Year-on-sales in April&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sourcingjournal.com\/denim\/denim-brands\/asos-marketplace-independent-fashion-sales-traffic-increase-coronavirus-212910\/#:~:text=Year%2Don%2Dsales%20in%20April,percent%20compared%20to%20last%20year.\">increased<\/a>&nbsp;421 percent for sweaters, 119 percent for women\u2019s hoodies and 166 percent for sweatshirts.<\/p>\n<p>Take Shopify. By mid-April, Shopify was experiencing, \u201cBlack Friday level traffic every day\u201d according to its Chief Technology Officer.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com\/investing\/2020\/06\/16\/e-commerce-sales-surged-78-in-may-these-3-stocks-c.aspx\">Revenue grew 47% year over year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Take Zalando. Europe\u2019s biggest online-only fashion retailer&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-zalando-results\/zalando-shares-hit-record-high-after-upbeat-outlook-idUSKBN22J1AP\">has seen revenue growth<\/a>&nbsp;of 16% and also saw its shares hit a record high.
