- Achieve one of the best position in developing distance education system in West Bengal as well as in India.
- Increasing enrollment of students under distance courses to increase GER in Higher Education in West Bengal as well as in India.
- Develop course curriculum compatible with the syllabus of NET/SLET to extend support in success of students in such examinations
- Ensure student friendly quality teaching and learning environment for the distance courses under this University.
- Adopting more IT, ICT based enabled teaching-learning methods in distance learning.
- Develop online platform for more smart classrooms to accommodate higher number of students.
- Develop latest communication media with students and stakeholders of distance education through WhatsApp, Facebook, Email, SMS etc.
- Reformation of examination systems of distance education adopting IT enabled environment and online examination adhering to the UGC-DEB Regulation, 2017.
- Upgrade students’ delivery mechanism by online submission of migration, enrollment, examination results etc.
- Development of Self Learning Materials (SLM) in such way that latest development in concerned subjects may be implemented within CBCS curriculum in more effective ways.
